Garth Brooks ha publicat recentment (llegiu-ne missatge a Countrycat) una caixa recopilàtoria. Tot el pack conté uns quants dels seus CD's ja publicats i material extra, entre el què destaca un nou CD que, entre altres cançons, té un tema dedicat al seu amic Chris Ledoux, mort l'any passat. El tema en qüestió té per títol "Good ride cowboy" (que es podria traduir com a bon viatge cowboy o bona cavalcada cowboy en un sentit més literal).

Un homenatge al seu amic I és que Garth Brooks sempre havia deixat clara la seva admiració vers la figura de Chris Ledoux. Un dels exemples d'això era a la lletra de la cançó "Much too young (to feel this damn old"), on en un verset es feia menció a una vella cinta de caset de Ledoux. Fins i tot en alguns directes Brooks ho completava cridant un "God bless Chris Ledoux" (que Déu beneeixi a Chris Ledoux) just després de cantar el tros de cançó. Veiue-ne el video!
