Gretchen Wilson - One of the Boys

La cantant nord-americana Gretchen Wilson està apunt de publicar un nou treball que durà per títol "One of the Boys" (trad. Un dels nois).

Serà el tercer àlbum, després de l'exitós debut de "Here for the party" (amb la cançó "Redneck Woman" al capdavant) i una bona continuació amb "All Jacked Up".

Tot i ser una cantant que fa relativament poc temps que ha sortit de l'anonimat mediàtic, seria injust posar-la al mateix estil musical que les actuals Chely Wright o LeeAnn Rimes, per dir-ho d'alguna forma. Els seus CD's, sense ser potser el country més tradicional, tampoc crec que puguin etiquetar-se de nashpop.

Sense anar més lluny, a "One of the Boys" podem trobar temes força bons, i fins i tot escoltar sense problemes la pedal-steel i el fiddle. És trist que això sigui notícia, però vaja...
