CMT Awards 2006

Ahir a la nit va tenir lloc l'entrega dels premis CMT 2006, els únics que són otorgats pels vots dels aficionats.

Pel resultat, i si aquest és el què realment han volgut els aficionats, hi ha alguna cosa que no em quadra: o en realitat a mi m'agraden els boleros o l'afició al country als Estats Units dista molt del què jo pensava que era.

Com pot ser que en l'apartat "Collaborative video of the year" d'uns premis de música country pugui guanyar un duet de Jennifer Nettles amb Bon Jovi enlloc d'un tros de duet com el de Joaquin Phoenix i Reese Witherspoon a "Jackson"?

Per això us dic, igual el raro sóc jo, no ho descarto. Potser enlloc d'agradar-me el country m'agrada alguna altra cosa...

En fi, els premiats són els següents:
· Video of the year: Keith Urban - Better life
· Most inspiring video of the year: Brad Paisley featuring Dolly Parton - When I get where I'm going"
· Male video of the year: Kenny Chesney - Who you'd be today
· Female video of the year: Carrie Underwood - Jesus, take the wheel
· Johnny Cash visionary award: Hank Williams Jr
· Video director of the year: Sohpie Muller - Faith Hill & Tim McGraw - Like we never loved at all
· Collaborative video of the year: Jennifer Nettles & Bon Jovi - Who says you can't go home
· Group/Duo video of the year: Rascal Flatts - Skin
· Hottest video of the year: Billy Currington - Must be doin' something right
· Breakthrough video of the year: Carrie Underwood - Jesus, take the wheel
