S'acosta Nadal i ja fa temps que van caient àlbums de nadales, altrament molt tradicionals dins la música Country.
No hi ha any que algun cantant no en tregui un. En tenen gairebé tots: Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, George Strait, ...
Doncs aquest any n'arriba un que signen una pila de cantants, que duu per nom Shimmy Down the Chimney: A Country Christmas.
Hi surten artistes de diferents segells discogràfics; entre altres cantants, hi ha Dwight Yoakam, Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Alison Krauss, Willie Nelson, Rosanne Cash, Merle Haggard o Dolly Parton.
Si us voleu comprar un CD de nadales "Country", sincerament no us el recomano. Pel meu gust es queda un pèl curt de "country".
Prefereixo les opcions que us he comentat més amunt d'Alan Jackson (Honky Tonk Christmas o Let it be Christmas) o George Strait (Merry Christmas wherever you are o Merry Christmas Strait to you).
